personally, my favorite thing about S&TC the show was the fashion. Patricia Fields was a magician with costuming, she turned SJP into an icon of celebrity fashion with her quirky, daring, and perfectly sublime selections of clothes. every character wore her personality with the wardrobes that were put together for them - really, quite a feat when you think about how diverse those four characters are in attitude and tastes.

i saw the film, and the clothes are HEAVEN. all the usual suspects make appearances - Valentino, Dior, Chanel, Gucci, and some fresh names like - Nina Ricci, Philip Lim, Derek Lam and others. with Carrie hooking up the uber-wealthy Big in the show finale, her wardrobe allowance went through the roof!!!
apparently the rest of America’s fashion-centric population agrees that S&TC is still relevant and have made S&TC the number one film in America.it is two hours of fashion eye-candy.if you’ve seen it, let us know what you think!
